War victim’s child care Report

SOCHRO, Somali Child Rights Organization, is Somali child rights advocacy and protection, education, health, nutrition, and development in Southern and Central Somalia region.

SOCHRO responding the rights of the children launched campaign to support the innocent children sustaining wounds and death in the wars going in Mogadishu.

The last seven months SOCHRO recorded one hundred savant four children victims of the last wars, in different villages of Benadir region who are mostly innocent children.

SOCHRO, managed to support nearly fourty seven children, which we participated the transportation of the wound children to the hospitals and care of the wounded children and the burial of the dead children in the IDP,s camp.

SOCHRO, last monthly 22/07/2009, supported twenty war victims children who mostly were poor children in IDP,s camp, two children under seven years age one by and girl in IDP,s camp of FARDOWS IDP,s camp Hodan district near Imamu-Shaafici School, 25,07/2009, two young boys wounded car accident at Ceelasha-Biyaha area, 26/07/2009, a boy wounded in the district Taleh-viilage, 27/07/2009, five dead and eleven injury in Jabuti-two, IDP,s camp, 29/07/2009, two children under seven years one boy and girl wounding Hamar-wieyne distrct near the Ex- Mo,alin Jama Cinema, 30/07/2009, one boy dead and one boy injury in Wadajir- district Zope street KM5, and Ceel-Qalow area.
