On the other hand, publishing on a sub-domain like blogspot, which is free portrays the publisher, albeit erroneously as lacking the required financial… Continue

But Kenya's coast has a seedier face - visiting white men who pay children, some as young as three years old, for sex. In a co… Continue

On my way to the Island this morning, at Ojodu Berger, I met a scene. A bike man was struggling with two teenagers, both male. They asked him for his ticket. One sized the bike man's helmet, the other began ruffling the bike man. The bike man held on tight to his bike and demanded for their ID card. They would not produce one and they wouldn't let the bike man go. Then a bus driver who was also watching (it was at a bus stop) shouted at the boys, telling them to stop harassing the biker rider.… Continue

The mainstream media is infested with negative news about Africa and about the world in fact. Why are there no or little positive news being covered? Is it a matter of habit or is it true that ‘if it bleeds it leads’? What drives or makes news value? What do negative media images communicate about Africa and how do they effect the world’s perception of a continent, as well as the lives of Africans themselves?
Join us this Sunday October 4th on Shoot the Messenger with Henry Bonsu at 18:00 GMT.… Continue

Sex, prostitution and infidelity are what theatre-goers can expect from Mpumelelo Paul Grootboom’s latest production Foreplay. Adapted from Austrian writer Arthur Schnizler’s commended Reigen, the play - set in Pretoria’s townships – is a series of 10 inter-connected scenes on society’s moral hypocrisy when it comes to sex. Grootboom is renowned for his simple yet provocative style – he doesn’t believe in sugar-coating prickly situations but would rather present reality as it is. Often his work… Continue

We did not expect such humiliation from the world Athletics Body. It it is an insult in our
Africa tradition that a girl her age is tested and it is done without the family's permission.
Any test to check if she has a unfar advantage must get a parents permission as it is done
to test virginity.
To add insult they just publise it. Were is the sportmanship? Continue
