Great
Thanks Sedney. I am trying to develop a portal where newsrooms worldwide can pick (and pay for) good stories about africa from africa. at the moment, many newsrooms depend on the traditional suppliers -- reuters, AP, AFP etc. you know their limitations.
if we can come together (say at least 25 journos from different countries) we can make this possible. once we get to this figure, we can introduce ourselves to newsrooms around the world.
Please note, for those employed, you will continue with your newsroom but turn around those juicy stories and forward them to AINS

Hi Ken,
It good to know you and would like to know more what AINS entails. I live and work in Sierra Leone and the deputy managing editor of Sierra Leone News. I would be interested to know you better.

This great idea Opala,

You have all my support and, of course, if you need i can become your correspondent based in Mozambique for the Southern Africa Region. I have a lot of experience on that and i can add more value for your brillant initiative. Lazaro Mabunda, the one who sent a comment too, is a nice journalist and as me, he won important investigative journalism prizes.

Hope all the best

Hello Ken,

AINS is a nice idea. I guess it is high time to issue the budding idea into a coordinated action. So, what does it take to be an AINS correspondent? Hope to hear from you soon.
